Members-Only Food Preservation Workshop: Sauerkraut (Tentative)

Join other Bluestem Farm members for a fun evening of making traditional sauerkraut! The farm will provide the ingredients and salt and show you what to do.

If it's convenient, bring along a snack to share so we can nosh while we talk (bonus points for including a lacto-fermented ingredient like sauerkraut, pickled beets, or kimchi in your dish) but please don't let that part discourage you if you've got a busy week and can't manage to bring anything.

This event is free for our CSA members, but we'll be glad to accept donations on behalf of the Blue Plate Project if you're so moved.

Space is limited and registration is required here

** If you haven't been here before, Bluestem Farm is located at 4218 M32, seven miles east of East Jordan. We're at the SE corner of the M32 / Adams Road intersection. Our driveway is off M32. You can park right inside the barnyard, but please drive slowly and watch out for kids and animals.
